HAIKU CHAIN GANG CHALLENGE [link]
Response to McDermid's poem here: [link] Please reply to this poem in haiku form and let me know when (or if) you do. Post it as a deviation and let people know you want them to respond in turn. Also, put a link to this journal to let people know where to go if they want to see all the chains that have taken off: [link] All the various chains and links are included here, along with the general outline of what a Haiku Chain Gang is. RULES: 1. Reply to this poem in haiku form. 2. Then post the poem as a new deviation. Name it whatever you want, or name it according to the system explained in the journal: [link] 3. Make sure to put a link to the poem you are responding to in the Artist Comments too. 3. Then leave a comment and link for the poem you are responding too so that they can add it to their Artists Comments. 4. Then wait to see more poems arrive and add them to the Artists Comments. 5. And so on. Happy posting!!! |

I kinda like getting up early at times, though I want to be alone awake since my morning mood is a lonely one.

I don't feel like I need as much sleep in the summer though. If I hadn't already done a haiku about it one new addition to the haikuthon could be:
noon
at midnight
Murmansk
but that would feel like repeating myself.

Yeah, it is a little repetitive. But I think that there would be many ways to explore that image, and I think that a haiku poet often needs to explore an image many times to see what else is in it.
