I blame the sun that does not go down here. I take a look at the time, thinking it's around 19:00 only to realise it's 02:00 something. =P

I kinda like getting up early at times, though I want to be alone awake since my morning mood is a lonely one.

Woah - a sun that doesn't go down. Full on. I don't know if I could handle that.

I grew up with light summer nights so I'm used to it not getting that dark at night, but seeing the sun as high at midnight as at noon (not zenith though) is quite a new thing for me. :O_o:
I don't feel like I need as much sleep in the summer though. If I hadn't already done a haiku about it one new addition to the haikuthon could be:

noon
at midnight
Murmansk

but that would feel like repeating myself.

I can imagine - that would freak me out!!!

Yeah, it is a little repetitive. But I think that there would be many ways to explore that image, and I think that a haiku poet often needs to explore an image many times to see what else is in it.

Well, I certainly get many chances to explore that picture here. ;)
