Travel and Haiku

Hi there everyone. I haven't been posting because I have been traveling with my wife. We spent a month in America (one of the highlights for us was visiting Laurence in Powder Springs - thanks for everything L) and are now spending a month in England (which is half over). We return to New Zealand on the 27th of January.

I have been keeping a journal of haiku poems as we go which I am planning on writing up when I get back to NZ. I will probably do them in haibun format (a combination of prose with haiku) in the style of Issa and Basho's travel journals.

One piece of good news for me is that two of my poems have been published in Roadrunner Haiku Journal. Here is a link if you want to read the issue they appeared in: [link]
